I finished a song in Ableton live 8.2.2. I saved and hit 'Close Live Set'. (I did not quit Ableton.) Next, I wanted to back up the song onto another external drive. By accident, I dragged the file into the same folder I just recorded on. A pop up window appeared saying something like 'Project in use'. I quit. Afterwards my project.als file was delete out of the original folder. I still have the Ableton Project Info and the Samples folder. I cannot find the .als file on my computer. It is not in the trash and does not show up on a hard drive search. Please help!!!!![Find Find](/uploads/1/2/6/0/126079805/663491785.png)

More on Ableton.com:
Ableton makes Push and Live, hardware and software for music production, creation and performance. Ableton´s products are made to inspire creative music-making. If sharing projects with Windows users, it's better to use VST. The VST format is cross platform. Provided the other user is using the same version of the plug-in, they'll be able to open the set and the plug-ins will be available. See our recommendations for transferring Live projects.
